I have 6 old PII computers that I would like to sell. Where would be the
best place to try to do this?
John Mc
I would suggest the Gay Halfway houses and Gay Counseling Centers.

Recently, there has been a rash of forged postings. I believe this is due to
Edward Major inviting trolls to the Pittsburgh newsgroups. You can look up these
message ID's at google.com.

Message-ID: <8%PEb.1161$***@nwrdny03.gnilink.net>

Message-ID: <rdoFb.19575$***@nwrdny01.gnilink.net>

Since the invitation, Edward Major got his wish and now my posts are being forged.

Those that are interested in my posts, please review the headers to identify which
are forged and which are not.

Unauthorized use of a person's name or likeness is a form of invasion of
privacy. Sue him and his ISP. At the very least, you should be able to get
an injunction ordering his account closed.

Teranews is much like a remailer with some anonymity issues. There are some avenues
to pursue such as the teranews conduit regarding their licensing agreement with
registrar and dns server..

As for suing, getting a judgement is one thing, fulfilling that judgement is another.
The troll probably doesn't have any assets, probably never will. Closing the troll's
ISP account would serve as a mere inconvenience, as they can easily find a new one.
It would however, identify the troll which could be subject to prosecution for
harrassment by communications if they are a U.S. citizen.

Regardless, I will continue to use this medium to share news with the local newsgroup
community regarding tax and political issues.
